ANIL!

Hey Anil! I just wanted to let you know what I really miss you, and you gotta be halfway done by now, so stay strong. I hope you don’t get all messed up in the head like that guy from “Full Metal Jacket” – “I already am in a world of shit!”. Look at the bright side, the BORAT movie comes out as soon as you finish up there. WOWEE WOW WOW. My wedding is exactly 300 days away, and I can’t wait till you are going to be one of my ushers – speaking of ushers – KEVIN! Did you get my email? Where are you! Please drop me an email or a comment or something. Ok, back to the military man. When you get back in town we have to get together. I am seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Wednseday. I think Stadium Arcadium is…well, let’s just say it would be better as a single disc with the filler removed. “By The Way” and “Californiacation” are awesome though, and those songs make up most of the set lists. I even heard a few shows end with “Soul to Squeeze” – you know, that awesome song off of the Coneheads soundtrack. Great song. Maybe this can be a discussion for the concert obsessed like me – Do you prefer when bands change their set lists or keep them the same? Discuss. I prefer when they change them, as long as its the right changes! My parents saw McCartney in Philly, then I saw him in NY, and then Anil saw him in DC, and it was the same exact show – not just music wise, but the same banter, stories, jokes, everything. Even though he did do “Fixing a Hole” solo on piano, so I am stoked. Well, this is a long post so I will save some more for another day. Hang in there Anil, we are all proud of you and are thinking about you.

fredo! awesome to hear from you. this weekend rocks – they let us out in town. we’re pretty much drinking coffee, playing backgammon all day. how turkish.

personally i live a diff set every night – at least mix up the songs. even though paul’s jokes were scripted they made for a good show – or maybe im biased.

thanks for writing again – its nice to have a convo without the yelling! :P
