Virtual Chinese Firewall Police

Beginning on September 1, 2007, these virtual police will walk, cycle, or drive across the screen reminding users not to view illegal sites. The Internet in China is already censored by the Great Firewall of China (is yours blocked?) and closely monitored.

Sites, forums, and the like, that the communist government finds offensive are all banned. Those traveling to China should install Tor to stay anonymous in Chinese cyberspace. Gmail users can also encrypt their emails with this Firefox plugin, and use Trillian or Meebo for encrypted instant messages.
