UK Proposes DNA Database on Every Citizen and Visitor

The potential for abuse is too great to make this a good idea. Already, innocent people acquitted of crimes cannot have their details removed from the database of – 30,000 people per month – that already exists. DNA evidence is not like a social security number, once it’s lost, stolen, or mishandled – it’s out of your hands forever and can’t be changed.
