Long range USB antenna’s, I’ll keep a look out on this and get back to you what I find. Our internet connection at hostels has been shoddy and usually when we close the door it cancels out the connection.

I just saw this on my google reader when I was looking at what posts by you I had missed and found this nice surprise. Thank you for the mention. I am a big fan of your site especially that it doesn’t just give great advice on travel but also you have such a creative talent in generating new blog ideas and ways to present posts. So I learn too on travel blogging techniques. I had loved all your tips on how to improve travel blogs. I hope you continue with posts like that also from time to time.

That is expensive and so much of the UK is! See if you can pick up a long range USB wireless antenna – you’ll be able to pick up some (hopefully open) Internet connections much further away than what’s built into a standard laptop.

Free drinks and Internet for only 6 extra pounds is a great deal. I appreciate you using some of your Internet time to get in touch with me as your travels are getting started!

Thanks for the mention Anil! Our great adventure has started and it’s a blast so far! We’ve been pretty slow on our updates as we haven’t had much luck with good wifi connections in our hostels and/or it’s too much money to use a internet cafe. 2 pounds for 20 mins! But we are hoping our 5 night stay in Copenhagen will have a good connection so we can do some serious updating!

Currently riding on a train to London from Liverpool to hit up a Hospitality show. (that’s drum & bass music for anyone who has no idea what that is). We upgrade ourselves for 6 extra pounds to first class. Totally worth it as we get free wifi, drinks (including alcohol), snacks, light meal, and dessert.
