The Pink House has large, clean rooms with many opening up on to a balcony with nice views of McLeod Ganj. The entire hostel is clean and there is fresh spring water complimentary for the duration of your stay. Breakfast isn’t served at the Pink House but there is free wireless to satisfy your Internet hunger. The signal however is strongest on the rooftop terrace and weak on the lower floors. The location is close to everything – but that’s not a difficult feat in a place as small as McLeod Ganj but remember to bring a flashlight if you’re going to be returning at night. The steep stairs on the walk back aren’t lit well and the stones on the path make it easy to trip if you can’t see where you’re going.
