Well, I already hit the gym. I signed up for a fitness challenge for my gym. Somewhere around 30 people signed up for a friendly competition. We have until December 15 to change our bodies and make them as healthy as we can. Then we are re-measured and a winner is chosen, and there is some kind of awesome prize. I am about a week into it and am running 3 miles three times a week, and I even took a spin class. It wasn’t that gay at all. I am also doing exercises that I have never done before. If anyone has any health tips send them my way. I am in it to win it. Anil just talked me into some Nutella. Jesus Christ I miss that stuff. Is it that unhealthy? It can’t be. Well, I am gonna spend the rest of my day rocking Dr. Mario on the original NEs and being in denial that the school year starts tommorow. Adios.

In 1884 the first Monday in September was selected as the holiday, as originally proposed, and the Central Labor Union urged similar organizations in other cities to follow the example of New York and celebrate a “workingmen’s holiday” on that date. The idea spread with the growth of labor organizations, and in 1885 Labor Day was celebrated in many industrial centers of the country.
