I think that anybody who wish to travel to South America should not miss the opportunity to visit the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, it is definitely a paradise on Earth.

Ecuador and Peru have been in peace since 1998 so there’s no problem between these 2 countries anymore. Ecuador has sometimes sporadic issues with Colombian guerrilla at the North (of Ecuador) in the middle of the jungle, so these small troubles are far away from the peaceful country of Ecuador its main cities and wonderful attractions.
