I’d love to hear stories from the fishing boat some time!

You have more chance of getting hit by a cab crossing the street to the airport terminal than getting whacked by terrorists.

I’ve worked on a fishing boat in the North Pacific which is supposed to be one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. I didn’t find that out until long after was out there. The point is, ignorance is bliss but not stupidity. Use your intuition.

Thanks – and I agree – I’m also curious, what do you think the reasons are that as a public we tend to focus on the symptoms?

It’s a bit scary to think about – especially when you’ve seen how terrible/crazy drivers can be in some parts of the world!

At least in most Indian cities, there is so much traffic you’re hardly moving at any great speed most of the time.

One of my personal rules I need to follow more often is buckle up 🙂
