Sure, it cuts the risk of wiping out the entire family. But it’s already an extremely unlikely event. There’s not much point in focusing on reducing the risk from an already unlikely event. These same people probably all get in the same car just going to the airport. That is much more likely to wipe out the entire family than any commercial flight.
