I’m planning some site changes and rolling them out in February. Thanks for letting me know about Comment Luv, I’m seeing more people using it and will check it out for the redesign.

It’s a careful balance between being interesting and having a concise layout. But, today I increased the number of displayed latest comments from 3 to 5. 😉

If you’re serious about comments, you should install CommentLuv. It encourages comments greatly because it provides a link at the bottom of each comment to that person’s latest blog posting. So it’s a wonderful way to encourage community growth and encourage commenting overall.
