In reply to Earl. Well, think about it from an evolutionary standpoint- its only been the last few thousand years that humans have been co-mingling with those unlike their own 'tribe.' For millions of years we evolved as social beings to fit into our particular group, and also evolved the ability to make very quick, sound decisions within that group. I kinda believe that stereotypes, predjudices, bigotry, stems from this. Our cultural boiling pot (is that the right term?) has occured in the last few seconds for evolutionary time.
