So many young boys are addicted to the computer games and it is enlightening to understand what another mother told me recently:  playing these games is not that dissimilar than basketball minus the physical activity.  you throw balls as distraction and the conversation takes place in sentences in between.  parents do not recognize the social aspect to gaming.  Now, the key and goal is what Alex mentions at the end -- moderation.
