The phone in my pocket gets me a lot of photos I would have otherwise missed – mostly the unexpected kind – where I didn’t have my camera. A phone is a backup in most cases but becoming better and better at being a reliable camera overall.

It can be second nature to go straight for my phone over my DSRL and point and shoot. Will have to check this apps out.

I’d not heard of any of these, thanks for sharing them. Now I’m off to check out your suggestions on best mobile for travelling as my (rather elderly) smartphone seems to have just this moment died… must be a sign, time to upgrade.
