I always think twice now…just imagine all of the sweat, drool, food stains…good to bring along your own travel blanket. Cabin Cuddler is nice because you can fold it into a tiny little pouch.

OHhhh – I always wonder about the cleanliness of those blankets and pillows – now I”m freaked out! Going on a long trip tomorrow – so will def. take my own pillow – will look for cabin cuddler!

I think that none of us want to think about it – but you’re right. There’s no way they could be washed after every flight.

As for hotels…that’s gross too.

It’s funny as it struck me that they couldn’t possibly be washed after each flight – quick turnarounds, the cost, … They don’t wash blankets after each hotel usage either (though they obviously wash the sheets and pillowcases).

I assumed the cheap pillows were disposed of. Makes you think…

I don’t know why, but it had never occurred to me either. I guess it makes sense when you think about it.

As Jim mentioned to me during the interview – think about a US cross country flight where a plane lands in 4-5 cities on a given day. How much time do they have to remove and rewash everything??

A great reason to bring you own 🙂
