I am experiencing this now after a 7 day cruise. It has now been a week and a half off of the boat and I still have extreme rocking, swaying and bobbing. It is definitely worse when I'm tired or stressed. I am hoping it will subside. Has anyone tried the VOR exercises with any luck? I am starting to do these in hopes that they will help. I am also considering hemp oil to see if that will calm down the symptoms.

Any insight to either of these approaches?

When I was on a trip from Dublin to Washington, I felt this feeling when I got off the plane, around 2 hour after. I felt extremely dizzy and zoned out from everything else. I found it hard to focus on my environment or conversations etc. it was worst for me when I was indoors in close surroundings. it really does make you feel awful and you envy everyone else who doesn't experience this. I seen a doctor and they gave me olive oil drops for my next trip in a weeks time to clear out the wax in my ears. Also I will take Sudafed when getting on the plane and If I am bad, I'm advised to use an ear spray which clears out the ear. Hopefully when I go away next week, when I arrive at my destination, after drinking plenty of water, using the ear spray and adjusting to my surroundings, It will ease!! If anyone has any tips or suggestions, feel free to comment below, thanks. :)

I too have experienced this dreadful feeling, I get this from boats, so now I avoid these.
I got taken ill in 2012 on our first family holiday to Zante taking our little boy away, we flew out on the Friday everything was fine, On the Wed we decided to go to the beach, we took a taxi everything was fine, I was in the sea, had lunch and a few vinos, it was a very hot day, I was lied on the sand letting the waves crash against my body everything was ok in myself, as we got into the town waiting at the taxi rank, boom it hit me like a ton of bricks!!! I know I did not feel right, I was shaking, heart was racing, I went to a restaurant and waited in there too cool down and had a coke. I just wanted to get in the taxi for the air con as I thought I was dehydrated re too much sun. We got back to the hotel I laid on the bed, and it felt like it went away, I got ready for the evening meal and getting into town, I went dizzy I thought I was going to pass out they sat me down in the restaurant I was so embarrassed, my husband flagged a taxi down as I got back to the Hotel my legs were like jelly, I laid on the bed it was horrific, I was rocking like I had been on a boat, my head was buzzing I was ill for 12 days, horrific. Since then I get this if I go into a hot tub, play on a game on the ipad, Kareoke machine, lifts....... I went seeing an ent specialist and he told me I have had labyrinthitis??? ermmmm I am not convinced I think I am suffering from motion sickness. This has caused me anxiety, panic attacks been horrendous we have not had a family holiday since 2012 I am petrified in case it comes back, we had to buy a campervan so at least I can take my little boy away to the UK!!! But I am 40 next year and thought sod it so I have booked Ibiza, I really hope this does not return, I have been told to try Dramamine app when you get the symptoms and take this it goes away??? I am willing to try anything, I got the bands, other motion sickness tabs, ginger trips. If anyone can say to me yes I think this is motion sickness it would help me a great deal with my anxiety, cos at least I know it may go taking these tablets. Thanks guys a very worried mummy and wife :-(
