Isn't it ironic that studies have shown that due to the fact that more people drove after 9/11 instead of flying, more people died in ADDITIONAL auto accidents (above the normal rate) in the 2 years after 9/11 than the number who died as the result of the actual attack. I always count the seats between me and an exit row. I assume I won’t be able to see, so I mentally touch the top of each row to reinforce and simulate how I would reach the closest exit.
