In reply to Federico. Yes, I often have to plan my travels around the Internet which helps a bit. The easiest way though when connections are slow is to record things in Google Earth, then upload the entire map/KML file to Google Maps when you've got a solid connection.

A lot of work here! I have one question though: when working with Google maps, doesn’t it take ages for each one to load and save whatever modification you do to it? I began by recording the places I was visiting with highlights of what there is to see, but I gave up because it seemed that the internet connections couldn’t cope with the bandwidth the maps needed.

…and yes, join Tumblr! It’s a lot of fun with lots of blog loving features 🙂 Can’t believe you still have more people coming, now THAT is a busy summer/fall. I’m looking forward to seeing what changes come up on your site, now I’ve got more time to fish around the Internet.
