About the most interesting thing at this large but quiet park. Cubbon Park has nice greenery for local residents to stroll though, but the fuss being made about it didn’t warrant a stop on my latest trip.

Great picture! By the way, Anil means “be remembered forever” in Turkish. Turks believe it is a purely Turkish word! Some friends from India told me it also means “fire” in their language.
@ mom:
Thanks! I thought this guy looked so at peace despite being homeless, he was really enjoying the little pleasures in life (as dogs seem to always appreciate).
As far as ‘Anil’ maybe a coincidence that both words are common names in both languages!
Maybe I should do a post about the origins of the name. Not travel related but certainly sparking up an conversation here 🙂
Definitely he looked relaxed! You have to appreciate the little pleasures in life. Life is too short to ignore them.
Doing a post on name origins is a good idea. It’ll open Pandora’s box!
