What Are These Hostel And Hotel Recommendations?
One of the most common questions I get asked are about accommodations: where to stay on a budget, what each hostel or hotel is really like, and where I stayed specifically during my visit to a city. So, in October 2011 I began to record the places I stayed in each country as far back as I could remember. There are places I’ve stayed I couldn’t recommend so they’re not listed. I hope my reviews help give you a better idea of where you might want to rest your head as well – without having to sift through the extremes of online reviews at booking sites.
I’ve also made particular note of the some specific things I look for and notice in a place to stay – breakfast, free wireless (and if it’s in the lobby only). You can always email me if you have other questions and check prices through the links I’ve provided. When you book online on through those links I make some beer money but it’s cut from the company’s end – so it doesn’t increase your rates. Despite that, none of these recommendations are sponsored and they never will be. I recommend what I like because I think you might want to stay there too.
What Are The Places To Eat, Drink, & Explore?
In October 2011 I also began documenting all of the sites I’ve seen and places I’ve eaten or had a drink after many months of being asked to do so by awesome people like yourself. I’m a little bit late so you’ll have to forgive me and my poor memory – for much of my travels I wasn’t documenting all the restaurants, cafes, bars, and sites I’ve been to. You’ll notice the further back in time you go the less dotted those countries I’ve visited are. Now however, my maps will be updated within a few days of visiting each destination and you can keep track in real-time on either foursquare or check out where I am right now.
