A comfortable hotel in Thamel, walking distance to a lot of cafes, restaurants, and things to see in Kathmandu. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable but not luxurious. The location and price value make the Kathmandu Grand Hotel and excellent option for travelers new to the city. A breakfast buffet is included in the morning and there’s also free wifi available, though the signal in most rooms is weak.
