My sister received this email and you can read about the efforts one of her classmates is making help her friend and journalist Kareem Amer.
He was arrested and thrown out of his university because he wrote about secularism on his blog. Imagine that, being arrested for writing on your blog about you government, society, or personal ideas.
Let’s hope that this doesn’t become common here in the US – and hopefully not where you are in the world either.
