The Breast Cancer Site‘s sponsors are offering free mammograms for clicks. Visit the site every day and click the pink button – each time you do so the site’s sponsors donate 100% of the money to low-income, minority women who may not have the resources to have regular mammograms.
The promotion goes through all of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you do click (I do!), let us know in the comments! Each year 182,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 die.
My heartfelt thanks for posting this information and believing in its importance. As a breast cancer survivor I know the value of getting regular mammograms and realize that not everyone has the means to get one.
The difference between doing something and nothing is effort; not money.
In October alone, 600 free mammograms were donated by advertisers. I hope everyone keeps clicking!
The advancements in medicine give breast cancer patients – caught early enough through screening – an 80% survival rate.
