The most impressive church in Sofia, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is an astonishing feat of architecture. Unfortunately photos aren’t permitted inside, a rule I failed to notice until having snapped away a couple. Entry is free to the cathedral but not the crypt adjacent to it. Personally, I didn’t find the crypt to be worth the price of entry.
