A relatively decent hotel that’s comfortable but the best aspect is the breakfast buffet. The location right along the coast is great as well and probably what accounts for much of the higher rates. Free wireless is available, although the connect gets shoddy as you move out from the center of the hotel. Makedonia Palace is a splurge so keep that in mind depending on whether you’re looking for a fancier environment or just a place to stay during your time in Thessaloniki.
