Located less than a 5 minute walk from the Golden Temple, this basic budget hotel is clean and well maintained by Indian standards. The rooms small, as are the bathrooms, but if all you’re looking for is a place to lay your head at night in between visits to the Golden Temple then the Hotel Golden Heritage is right for you. There is also free wireless in the building, however the signal is rather weak throughout the rooms and lobby. Breakfast isn’t served and the bottled water and other drinks sold in the lobby are costly enough for me to recommend you purchase them outside at a local shop.
