This is the largest Jewish cemetery in Europe and worth seeing while in Chisinau. Entry is free and you can easily spend 2 hours wandering around the large grounds. Be sure to find and visit the abandoned synagogue. From the entrance to the cemetery it’s an immediate left and about a 10 minute walk.

Hello,
Could you tell me your source for “largest Jewish cemetery in Europe”? Is that by area or number of graves?
Thanks.
By graves. Here’s a bit more information I’ve written about it:

Thanks! You haven’t cited the source on this other page, either, though. When I google “largest Jewish cemetery in Europe” the cemeteries in other cities are named. If it’s true, I’d love to know your resource.
When I don’t cite the source it’s because I obtained the information firsthand but the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ) will be able to provide you with the records you’re looking for:

I hope this helps a bit!
