The Chez Chegrouni restaurant and cafe serves the typical Moroccan dishes you’ll find just about all over Djemaa El-Fna. The food is cooked well, not too elegant of breathtaking but certainly satisfying. Perhaps the best thing about Chez Chegrouni are the cafes seats overlooking the Djemaa El-Fna square on the second floor. If you grab a seat there by the rails early (say, around 3-3:30pm), you’ll be able to witness the transformation of the square from marketplace to gigantic barbeque feast.
