Spacious rooms that are well maintained and spotless along with strong wireless and fast wired Internet throughout the hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn was a refreshing stay for me. I turned in some Hilton Honors Points over a long weekend prior to departing to another city in the world and enjoyed the large breakfast buffet (not complimentary) and made the most out of the modest but sufficient gym. Unless taking a taxi (be sure to specify the Golden Horn location) I can imagine it would be difficult to find the Hilton Garden Inn using public transportation without knowing the city or speaking Turkish as I do. An inexpensive option would be to take an airport shuttle to Taksim Square and pick up a cab to the hotel from there. It shouldn’t be more than a 15 minute ride at that point.
