The El Cortez Hotel located in old Las Vegas is a budget hotel where the casino holds up appearances well, but the rooms are very basic. The strong smell of smoke permeates the entire hotel but if you’re looking for relatively budget accommodations in Las Vegas, El Cortez is passable if your expectations aren’t too high. Free wifi is available and it’s located to many restaurants and bars.
