Sleep Deprived Make Opposite Decisions
Sleep deprivation caused by long travel, jet lag, and unfamiliar places makes the human brain not only make bad decisions – but the opposite decision they would normally make.
Research shows that when people attempt to resolve emotionally charged, dangerous situations on little sleep, they make the opposite choice from what they would have made when well rested.
Make sure you get your rest on road trips using airports, on the train with sleeping cars, and near Starbucks in airports. Either way, this sounds like good girlfriend excuse to me.
