The first place I ate sushi in Japan, Uogashi Nihon-Ichi gets their fish daily from two local markets, the famous Tsukiji and Ota. Very little English is spoken but just trust the sushi chef and you’ll enjoy the meal experience. Uogashi Nihon-Ichi is standing only (no chairs) and accommodates about 15-20 people so beware of waits during lunch hours. The prices are roughly $1.10-3.25 per piece of sushi, with tea complimentary.
