I think made the same exact speech a year ago, especially the bullshit about oil dependency. What the state of the union never, ever delivers is the “how” – How are we going to achieve all of these goals? That is why things never get done. Meanwhile, someone like Obama who wants to make a difference has to defend his schooling from when he was 7 years old. It’s no wonder the human race is so messed up.
Don’t all of those standing ovations piss you off, or am I the only one?

It is a shame that the State of the Union has become what it is –
The Bush administration has essentially been rendered ineffective and unable push any of it’s policies and agendas. Failures in foreign policy, a lackadaisical approach on domestic issues, and an unwillingness to compromise has put G.W. Bush in a difficult position.
The Democrats are now sinking their teeth in and the Republicans are slowly backing of their support.
No matter *what* is proposed, it is like running an obstacle course and I’m afraid that US citizens will have to put up with a stagnant government for the next two years.

True its been the same thing over and over and overrrrrrrrrrrr. He needs to understand it doesnt work anymore. Atleast from my perspective.
Oh if anyone gets a chance to read or has read “Blood and Oil” by micheal klare – he says the same thing..well close.. that we are “addicted to oil”. Addiction, depenedency whatever
