Apparently for some finding a mate is so easy, that couples have begun dating other couples.
Kupple.com is a site that that lets couples seek out other couples for friendship, advice, or even business ventures. Registration is free and the membership has grown past 2,500 users.
Similar to cuddle parties, couple-dating is strictly a nonsexual affair, so don’t sign on looking for foursome hookups. The start of a new trend? Couples do tend to stick to couples and singles seem to hang out in the same places.
Couplesworldwide.com has the largest membership of couples wanting to expand their circle of couple friends. Of all the social network sites for committed couples it also offers the most features; webchat, im, forum, blogs, groups, video, audio etc.
Interesting that this trend is growing (or has grown). I wonder if there will be a third-wheel social networking site in the makes.
My boyfriend and I moved to New York and wanted to make some new couple-friends. We stumbled upon Kupple.com’s Facebook page and wound up joining the site. It works well for cities where there are a lot of couples already registered.
Definitely an interesting concept, still going strong years later. Pretty rare for a social/media online service.
