The downtown area was well designed with an open and clean layout but I must say that Indianapolis is home to some of the strangest people I’ve ever met.

Hey!
tell me about the weirdos? don’t leave me hanging like that!
haha, it was like an episode from the Twilight Zone. People looked normal but stared and acted very strange. Then there was the guy who was “raising money to build a church” and that he’d put in a good word with God if I helped him with a few bucks.
What a giant monument of a building – well captured.
Thanks Renny, I’m always kicking myself for not taking enough pictures. I’m glad I had the sense to snap a couple before leaving. Indianapolis is a very photogenic city btw, great downtown for pictures.
Yes! More about the weirdos please. I would have asked him to show me the plans for the church… then told him I have a direct line to God. Maybe he’d think I’m the weirdo here…
haha yes! It would have been hard to out-weird this guy. It was strange though, everywhere I went people would stare. I wasn’t sporting a mohawk or anything and I’m not sure what it was.
The church guy though was wearing a 3-piece suit which was strange in itself. He looked normal until he started asking for money in exchange for the protection of my soul 🙂
I love the idea that you can purchase protection for your soul.
I like that the guy had the ability to ‘put a good word in’ – maybe he should put one in for himself (and a few bucks!)
hehehe, people are always asking money in name of god and most people wo give them money do so from fear than from the point of helping them (my opinion!)
Yeah, I don’t think any amount of money can replace being a good or bad person. The story was wonderfully elaborate though, it had so many turns before he lost me completely. At the end of it though after I said no he turned and ran off as fast as he could down a couple of blocks. Weird.
Hey! We are from Indiana! and I couldn’t agree more about the strange people…
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. I thought I looked weird or something.
