The rooms are comfortable although rates are expensive, as are the limited food options. The best reason to stay at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort (and not one of the other nearby properties) are the special park passes they offer. Both discounted entry, early entry, and well as access to many of the express lines for many rides. There is a small gym on the premises, paid wifi, and a few restaurants without much in terms of a convenience shop. Overall a comfortable but pricey experience oriented solely for Universal Studios trips.
