Sitting on literally the only reasonably flat surface up the way of Burra Mountain, this camp is 3 rooms under a single brick building that was constructed by the current owner’s grandfather. The views are incredible and if you like to chew khat, there’s plenty to be had from the farm just outside. Electricity is occasional and the toilet in an outhouse but the feeling of being on the edge of the world makes staying at this camp an extraordinary experience. I wish I had better contact information for the camp but the best way to get in touch with them is through the local tour operator Eternal Yemen (their email address is listed below.)
