Far more comfortable than the word “camp” in its name suggests, Delisha Camp has large huts right by the Gulf of Aden coast that are picturesque in their placement. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable with a single power outlet run to each cabin. Breakfast is served in the mornings and includes eggs, toast, cheese, and plenty of black tea. Meals are also offered at the Delisha Camp and are tasty vegetable and rice dishes served around a main course of fresh fish. There is no wireless or Internet available, something not uncommon on Socotra. There is also a sizable lounge for hanging out during the realtively cooler evening hours.
