A great city, I was there last year. Good luck, it’s tough competition in the first round but I like the enthusiasm!
I think it would be fair for people to only vote in a duel where they have been to both cities. Only three duels applied to me, but I can see how the votes will be skewed to more famous cities. I’ve been to SF many times, but not Park City, so I can’t actually say SF is better.
I fear the same will happen with Seoul v Sydney (which imho, does not come close to Seoul).
Just a thought for the next tourney.

It’s hard to regulate the votes and it wouldn’t be very democratic to do so 🙂 Little cities though often get an enthusiastic following that larger ones have a more difficult time building. Every year it’s really unpredictable, my favorite part.

This is not fair 😀 :)) It is a lot harder then last year! I’ve wanted to vote for Craiova and Tg. Jiu, and now I am shocked to see that they are both in the duel. Arrrgh for the greater good that the Oltenia Region has to offer I shall vote for Tg. Jiu!
I hope this time, the readers will not argue if another romanian wins the competition. It is cruel, that romanian city has to duel each other!

What happens if there’s a draw (like in the case of Amsterdam and Perast)?

Hi Dana, every contest I am the tie breaker in the case of a draw at the end of the round. I’ll go through this first round now and very soon you’ll see who advanced in the closest contests!
