The video is worthy of a few laughs and I think all travelers will enjoy the point Ed Byrne has at the end of the clip.
It would be funny to hear some of you ask the questions he brings up the next time you check in some luggage with an airline.

Thanks for the good laugh and a great start to my weekend 🙂
Anytime Renny! It’s good to go into the weekend with a good laugh 🙂
I agree! What a good laugh! I actually haven’t had my luggage lost since I was 13 (and a Floridan on my way to Alaska and they were gone for 6 days!). But that’s about it – my bag met me in every new country I visited so I can’t really rant 🙂
I went on a very good streak for years before my first bags were lost a few years back. It happened at a really bad time too, since I needed a suit for an event I was going to the next day (I of course arrived last minute). I ended up having to borrow from a friend. A 6’2” friend. I’m like 5’8” on a good day and I looked ridiculous but hey, at least I eventually got my bags back 🙂
Superb entertainmnet. I’ve never heard of this guy but impressive story on losing your bags which sounds scarily close to the truth. I haven’t lost too many bags over the years though once flying from Singapore to Bangkok, I was asked by the friendly check-in assistant why I was sending my bags to Kathmandu (which of course I wasn’t – they had mis-marked the tags with the wrong flight number). She said she’d try to rescue them by typing on a keyboard. She didn’t succeed but at least the lost bag was well and truly on the way to being sorted by the time I landed and I knew the issue. One bonus trip to Bangkok airport (they wouldn’t ship it out to me – bloody annoying) 24 hours after I’d arrived and my bag was re-united.
It’s funny how travelers get questioned about their bags when it should be the other way around. I’m very surprised they made you go back out to the airport, you’d think they’d ship the bags out to you – I mean, it was *them* who messed up!
Great video…and so true!
Stina, I really want to ask those 4 questions next time I’m at a ticket counter 🙂
That was a great video Anil! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks John, glad you enjoyed it. Was worried people may not watch since it’s a bit on the long side (by Internet standards) but there’s a few good laughs in there.
