Listen To Sirius Satellite Radio Free For 3 Days

Satellite radio is a road trippers best friend and well worth the investment if you have to drive anywhere for more than 30 minutes on a regular basis. To preview for free what Sirius has to offer you can sign up to listen for free online for 3 days. Now is a good time as Sirius is broadcasting the NCAA basketball tournament games live. You can check out the entire channel guide and thier pricing options.

Also, Sirius has an Internet only option that doesn’t require any hardware for those of you on extended travel or who live abroad.

Free Streaming Movies and TV Shows: Alluc.org

Alluc.org links to sites that host current movies, TV shows, music videos, and even sporting events. Much like PeekVid, except with a larger selection of programs including Heros. (It was actually an obsessed fan who sent me the link). Videos are streamed via GoFish and at full screen have good resolution and you won’t have to download anything. The only annoying thing is the ad that says, “you’ve won a free iPod Nano” when the page opens.

I’m not sure how any of this is legal, but Alluc says it is – either way this makes for great time wasting at the airport, school, or office. For harder to find TV shows from the 80s and UK, visit TV-Links.

Thanks Peaceluvbug!

Beer Madness

In honor of the Men’s NCAA Basketball tournament the Washington Post has come up with Beer Madness. It is what it sounds like and you can vote for your favorite ale and lager here. I’m not sure that I agree with their selections and such a shame not to throw in dark beers although they don’t go great with stir-fry.

Who would you vote for?
