Vote for your favorite 10 cities below before this Sunday, March 3rd at 23:59 US EST. Those of you reading through email and RSS will have to click-through to this page to vote.
These are the cities you selected to compete in the 2013 Best City To Visit Travel Tournament. This round of voting won’t eliminate any cities – the final results are what I use to order (seed) each of the cities in the tournament brackets. Almost every year, the cities that do the best in the Preliminary Round tend to advance further in the tournament. (So don’t neglect getting a solid head start!) The 56 cities with the highest votes in this round will automatically advance to the Round of 64. Good luck to you all!
The first elimination round begins next Tuesday, March 5th and I’ll be revealing the The City To Visit Travel Tournament brackets the day before on my Facebook page.

May the best city win!
Yerevan, Armenia.
Unfortunately it’s too late to nominate cities at this point for the 2013 contest. Keep it in mind for 2014!
Phew, was panicking then, thinking Turkey wasn’t represented. 🙂 Soooo busy at the mo but knew Istanbul would go quickly anyway and pondered adding Izmir…and lack of time and organisation took over. Fethiye boundaries officially expand as far as Göcek (!!!) soon so we might keep it in the bag for next year. 😉
Wow, now incorporating Göcek as well, good for Fethiye! Maybe 2014 is the year…
Man I thought Istanbul and Edinburgh would be higher. I’ve heard Granada, Spain is freaking awesome though.
I can’t say enough good things about Granada – although I’m not taking any sides 🙂 All of those top seeds should be tough to beat this year, guess we’ll see!
Wow – Can’t believe this has come around again so quickly. I missed the first round of voting for some reason. Must have my heads in the cloud. Hopefully this will be the year when Istanbul will win
Casablanca, I wish will win , and I had not a chance to participate in the first round.
Next year!
