Another Best City Tournament where Istanbul advances far but can’t quite make it to the Final and enthusiastic Romanians vote one of their cities onward. Vote now to determine whether New York or Targu Mures will advance to face either Lisbon or London in the Best City 2016 Championship. I’ll visit the winning city sometime this year, as well as donating $500 to a local charity, so click to let me know one of the places I’m going in 2016.

Throughout the competition, I’ve been asking those who nominated cities to let me know of a local non-profit they’d like to sponsor. From Hand In Hand, an organization helping children with autism in Bishkek, to Dogs Trust in London, I’ve been highlighting many of these non-profits during the Best City 2016 Tournament. This week I want to let you know about Cercetasii Romaniei (Scouts Romania) chosen by Razvan. Scouts Romania’s goal is educating youth to help build a better world where people are fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
