Next time you don??t know what to with those browning bananas, stick them in the freezer. You can eat them later, provided you give them a few minutes to thaw out.

For real.
Somewhere along the line, the three guys who came up with the “Michael Vick Dog Chew Toy” got busted by copyright law and had to change the design and the name of the toy, because Michael Vick’s likeness and name really belongs to the NFL.
Not to worry. The new “Vick’s Dog Chew Toy” is on its way.
Yup, pup! Ebay sellers are already taking a bite out of your human’s credit card, while bids are as high as $71, as of this writing, for a toy advertised as the “Michael Vick Dog Chew Toy.”

Each year the Arctic ice sheet melts in the summer and refreezes during the winter. In recent times, more has been melting off and less coming back. The BBC has and interactive map on a situation already causing problems for humans.
Members of Russia’s parliament in a mini-submarine planted their country’s flag four kilometers (2.5 miles) below the North Pole…the voyage reflects growing international interest in the Arctic partly due to climate change, which is causing greater melting of the ice and making the area more accessible for research and economic activity.
Snow melt is already affecting other places too, including the Swiss Alps.
