I’m not sure if it is better to give flyers nothing and let them just pay for extra luxuries (like coffee) or to just have a plane ticket that’s 15$ more and get a Coke with my included pretzels. The changes take place June 20, 2007.
Here is the story [via Consumerist]. Spirit still is really good about ticket prices and their flight attendants are great so they’re let’s keep them on our good side shall we? 😉

Even though the global warming debate rages on it seems as though businesses on the fringe are beginning to consider what will happen as the temperature rises. Guess money gets people serious about “theories”.
Some of Switzerland’s most famous ski resorts have published a report looking at the consequences of global warming on their winter tourist business.
The resorts, among them Wengen, Muerren, Grindelwald and Gstaad, are the first in the Alps to start planning for a future that is likely to contain less snow.
Has your skiing been effected this year by warmer temperatures?

Ok, I must apologize for the pun. Airplanes, Internet cafe keyboards, hotel rooms, and traveling in general all make you more prone to illness and you should increase your intake of antioxidants as you wander the globe.

There are many health benefits of cinnamon, not to mention a little will go a long way in you travel bag, waistline, and pocketbook. Cinnamon doesn’t have any calories (provided that you don’t get cinnamon-sugar) and you can sprinkle it on any old nutritionally bland hotel breakfast food like bagels. Also cinnamon has been shown to have an anti-clotting effect on the blood which is good to counteract the clotting effects of flying.
It also goes great on cereal, about $2 bucks worth will last for months., and it won’t spoil or go bad.
